More Thai people are interested in investing in cryptocurrency than in the past. I am also a person who uses Bitkub to invest in digital assets.

But from used, I also feel that the
‍Bitkub application has something that can be improved.
RESEARCH
To get to know more about the users,
‍I researched the group of cryptocurrency investors in Thailand. It is to define the appropriate user groups for collecting data and have a good impact on business.

From the online research
- Those aged 18–29 years old are the most interested in investing in Bitcoin. But facing the problem of a lack of investment
- Those aged 30-39 years old are the most strongly invested in Bitcoin.

Based on my research, I chose to speak with 5 Bitkub users between the ages of 25 and 35 to find out why they use it for digital asset trading. This includes uncovering pain areas while running the Bitkub application.

- Why are you interested in cryptocurrency investment?
- Why choose Bitkub app to trade cryptocurrency?
- How often do you use the application in a day? And what do you use?
- How do you use the application to trade cryptocurrencies? Can you show me a demonstration?
- Did you encounter any problems during use?
- Is there anything in the app that should be improved?

I synthesized my findings under pros and cons for 4 menus in the Application

- Market
- Trade
- Wallet
‍
‍My research results were then organized on an affinity map to help me better understand their interrelationships
and set priorities for the next step in the process.

Ideate & Prototype
Mid-Fi wireframes
I designed task flows to represent the steps a user would take to perform each job in Bitkub. To better understand where people were having problems, I highlighted the sections in red where most users struggled, and this is where I want to focus the most throughout the redesign.

Prototype
My Mid-Fi designs were converted into Hi-Fi prototypes. The screen comparisons below show the before and after results side by side.

Validate
Bring the clickable prototype to the five interviewees and make a survey to discover
if these four menus are easier to use. (Home, Market, Trade Wallet)

Feedback
- Users will be able to view what they want on the Home page (Favorite Coin, Portfolio and In Order) without having to another page.
- On the trade page, should use words that are easier to understand., e.g. "Amount of THB to be paid (จำนวน THB ที่ต้องจ่าย)" should be as "Invest amount ... THB (ลงทุนจำนวน ... บาท)".
